Gear Shift Coordinated Control Strategy Based on Motor Rotary Velocity Regulation for a Novel Hybrid Electric Vehicle

This paper proposes a novel hybrid power system to improve the shift quality of electric vehicle (HEV). After selecting typical scheme, study focused on motor rotary velocity control algorithm and coordinated strategy for clutch. The effects various algorithms different target velocities were analyzed, proportional-integral-derivative (PID)–bang-bang–fuzzy compound intelligent was investigated. In addition, address problems long synchronizing time required large sliding friction work, which affect during process engaging clutch, clutch oil pressure research results showed that, compared with gear based PID algorithm, PID–bang-bang–fuzzy proposed here reduced slipping work by 35.7% 19.2%, respectively.
